Prescott Arizona's Christmas City

Bill and I spent two days in Prescott, AZ
(12-22-23rd) We stayed in Hotel St. Michael's. Located on the corner of Gurley and Monteczuma Streets which overlooks the City Square. The square houses multiple trees, statues, the courthouse and a gazebo. The  Christmas light show on the square was quite elaborate. Most of the trees were lit and one actually blinked to Christmas music.

We took in the many sites ie..museums and yes the annual Gingerbread Village. Held in the Prescott Resort claiming to be the largest Gingerbread village in the world with over 100 houses. Built by local organizations the gingerbread houses are judged in several categories . While you are there, check out the rear patio and the breathtaking view of Prescott and Thumb Butte.

We ate in several resetaurants, the one we highly recommend gives you a great view of the lights on the square, good food, and service: Prescott Brewing Company. Though we did not go the lights in Prescott Valley were also billed as part of the Christmas offering.
